When non-bideters (non-bidet-believers) think of bidets, they tend to imagine a garden hose spraying at your bum. An actual bidet seat normally has a built-in aerator that infuses air pockets or bubbles into the outgoing water stream. The result is a refreshing wash that has some power behind the spray but that spray is "cushioned" with the pockets of air.
Non-electric bidet attachments are run on pure water pressure and since they do not run on electricity, there is no water pump or air pump/aerator.
Most Bio Bidet electronic seats come with the aerated wash built-in.
Non-electric bidets do not have aerated washes.
